  1. How to add an entry to the Hayes BBS List
  2. =========================================

  4. Qualifications
  5. --------------
  6. To be added to this list, a BBS must be running a Hayes high speed modem
  7. (9600 bps or higher).  This includes the V-series 9600, Ultra 96, Ultra
  8. 144, Optima 96, Optima 96 + Fax 96, Optima 144, and the Optima 144 + Fax
  9. 144.  All entries are strictly voluntary and have asked to be on the
  10. list.

  12. V-series Users
  13. --------------
  14. Owners of the original V-series 9600 should note that the Optima
  15. products do not support the Express 96 protocol.  This means you will
  16. not be able to get speeds over 2400 bps when connecting to them.  BBSes
  17. running the Optima family will be marked with a "%" in the indicator
  18. field.

  20. How to add a BBS
  21. ----------------
  22. All submissions to this list are purely voluntary.  To have a BBS added,
  23. the sysop should call Online With Hayes at either 1-800-874-2937 or
  24. 404-446-6336, and leave a comment to the sysop as they logoff including
  25. the model of modem being used, name of the BBS, location of the BBS,
  26. sysop's name and BBS phone number.  We will attempt to revise the list
  27. on a quarterly basis.

  29. Corrections
  30. -----------
  31. Hayes does not assure the accuracy of this list, though we do take
  32. reasonable steps to keep it as accurate as possible.  As with most
  33. national lists, we depend upon the sysops and the users to help keep us
  34. informed of changes.  If you find a BBS on our list that is down or
  35. otherwise see an error, call Online With Hayes at 1-800-874-2937 or
  36. 404-446-6336 and leave a comment to the sysop at logoff.
